Q.

I am curious as to why you have included Madonna in your "only music video show dedicated to Enigma and it's related artists." Madonna has never worked with Enigma. I think some of her recent songs, especially "Frozen" and "The Power of Goodbye" were enigmatic, but this doesn't qualify her as a related artist. Anyways, I am not trying to start a fight. I am just curious as to your reasons for her inclusion.

A.

The show is dedicated to Enigma, related artists (Cretu projects), groups that sound like Enigma, and breakthrough videos. "What it feels like for a girl" may not sound "enigmatic" but the video has got to be her best to date. "The Power of Goodbye" and "Frozen" will be on future shows due to there sound. I have created exclusive remixes of these tracks to give them more of an "Enigmatic" feel. Madonna may not be related to Enigma but in a way she is linked. Cretu has sampled her beats and loops in his songs…particularly "Mea Culpa" and his latest "Push The Limits." Some people may be surprised to learn that Madonna actually sampled that beat (Justify my Love) from Public Enemy. So don't be too surprised if you see a video by them pop up as well. In the future I will not take the time to explain why a song/video is linked to Enigma. A true fan and longtime follower will be able to explore and research these other groups and discover the association for themselves. Many people will disagree on some of the videos that show up on the show...especially the next one when Eminem's "stan" will appear. The reason for this is there is a Dido block. Dido is a member of "faithless." Since she appears in "Stan" and the video is really cool, I decided to include it. Lots of the artists that appear on the show may sound nothing like Enigma but they have been compared to them at one time or another. I'm just trying to let people get a chance to see some rare videos...especially those of us that live in the U.S. Hope this helped. Is there something you would like to see?
